Skills and Qualifications
Minimum 8+ years of experience in Integration Development using IBM Integration Bus & Java Adapter Frameworks
5+ years’ experience coding with ESQL,XSTL and XML
Demonstrated experience in large cross-team projects with the confidence and knowledge to influence technical direction
Designing solutions in accordance with architectural standards
Aviation experience is preferred
Roles and Responsibilities
Performance tune middleware products like WebSphere MQ and Message Broker. Work closely with the development teams to administer load testing and monitoring
Manage and maintain the environments by automating systems management and monitoring activities
Experience in modern interation achiteture and Microservices based interation and application development
Experience implementin API Management tools and knowledge of the API economy
Assist and/or work with application development teams and provide 24×7 of Production support
Experience in Administrate/Installation/Configuration and Troubleshooting IBM Web sphere MQ Series v7.0 and above on Multi platforms and support/direct integrations team.
Creating and configuring Queue Mangers and Remote Queue, Local queues, Channels. Should have experience in performing the backup strategies and in performing the recovery scenarios
Experience in configure and monitor MQ Listeners, Channel initiators, Trigger Monitors, MQ Log files& Dead Letter Queues.
Broad experience in web services/SOA distributed applications including WebSphere Integration products (WMB, MQ, ESB, Data Power)
WMB administration experience and proficiency with Message Broker Runtime on UNIX/Linux platforms
Having experience of MQ on SSL Implementation. Should have experience on developing maps, message flows and configure/develop adaptors
Implement and maintain integration systems infrastructure including fault tolerance and high availability solutions
Administration of Integration solutions based on IBM Message Broker and MQ technologies. Proficiency in Install and configure IBM WebSphere MQ, Message Broker on Windows based environments
Assess functional and nonfunctional requirements and create integration designs to meet both business and technical needs

Experience with REST API development
Analyze, design, develop, test, deploy and maintain integration solutions and process flows using IBM Integration Bus (aka IIB, WebSphere Message Broker) and IBM MQ in support of multiple business projects.
Design, development, testing, troubleshooting and maintenance of integration components for applications and systems
Understand, refine and comply with integration standards, guidelines, and best practices for IBM Integration Bus, IBM MQ & JAF
Work with Solution Architects to ensure that application designs utilize the appropriate integration patterns and standards
Build and maintain a solid understanding of the application areas and the business areas they support
IBM Broker
Experience working with IBM Transformation Extender (ITX formerly WTX)
Experience with IBM Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) integration platforms
Experience integrating web services
Knowledge of multiple operating systems, especially Windows is a must other systems such as i5/OS (System iSeries / AS / 400), AIX, and Linux is an added advantage
Knowledge of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) concepts
Experience with various programming and scripting languages (JAVA, RPG, C, XSLT, various. NET languages, python, JavaScript, shell script…)
Experience with enterprise ETL (Data Warehousing)
Java
Experience with continuous integration frameworks using tools such as Jenkins, Maven, ANT, Udeploy, Glassfish etc.
Experience with integrating complex systems using web services standards such as REST, WSDL,SOAP, etc.
Exposure to integration on public SaaS cloud platforms
Good understanding of Agile methodologies and best practices.
Excellent communication and analytical skills.
Experience in designing and developing integrations
